DIMBAZA – The state says two of the accused in the corruption, fraud, and racketeering case involving the University of Fort Hare could pose a threat to the lives of key witnesses.
The case’s lead investigator alleges that security boss Anwar Khan attempted to evade arrest when police were looking for him over the Easter Weekend.

The Dimbaza magistrate’s court in the Eastern Cape also heard how co-accused Terrence Joubert, a former senior member of the NPA, was reluctant to give the police the pin number of a cellphone that could be used as evidence against him.
